Es un gran placer para nosotros participar en el seminario en línea «Drawing Nature», organizado por BBDS (Black Book Drawing and Sketching Journal) el viernes 4 de abril, con una presentación titulada: «Touching Earth: Drawing as Intra-action and Entanglement in Here, Down Below».

La convocatoria de propuestas de BBDS enmarca el dibujo como un agente activo en la naturaleza:
«Como parte de la naturaleza, todo lo que creamos—cada línea, cada trazo—emerge e interactúa con el entorno. Este tema enfatiza el dibujo como herramienta de reflexión, cuidado y conciencia, instándonos a considerar el impacto de nuestras acciones en el frágil equilibrio de los ecosistemas. Inspirados por la preservación de la biodiversidad como gesto de esperanza y responsabilidad, y por el dibujo como acto ecológico, buscamos ponencias que aborden el dibujo tanto como práctica creativa como ética.»

Imprográfika (con Anthi) compartirá experiencias, observaciones y material gráfico del taller experimental “Acá, Abajo”, un taller de dibujo dedicado a la tierra. La presentación se centrará en una de sus unidades, “Cuadernos de Barro”, donde se exploró si—y cómo—la tierra puede transitar de ser un sujeto descriptivo a convertirse en el material mismo del dibujo. A través de este proceso, se examinó cómo la materia y los trazos se entrelazan en complejas intra-acciones y enredos (entanglements).

Al investigar el dibujo como medio para profundizar nuestra conexión con la naturaleza, destacamos su rol como exploración, tacto, medio y agente—que opera más allá de los regímenes visual/antropo/logo-céntricos. Nuestro objetivo no es solo reconectarnos con, comprender, interpretar o proteger la frágil tierra, sino también cambiar paradigmas, avanzando hacia un dibujo como gesto simbiótico, espontáneo y ecológico. Este enfoque busca redefinir la materialidad del dibujo, revelando la creación de marcas como una práctica multifacética de inscripciones, huellas e interfaces.
